What if we got together with all our good friends, and moved elsewhere all at once? hmmm say...some remote Caribbean island? I guess that'd be too, "The Beach" huh? But you could be Leo...
Yeah, TLH, there's no anchor tenant, just a bunch of little things that add up to home sweet home. It takes living here for a while and then moving away for a while before one really appreciates how nice it is to be living here.
A few of the little things: Tree's everywhere, 72 degrees ambient, Wakulla Springs, sinkhole swimming holes, incredible diversity of local rivers i.e. Aucilla/Wacissa/Sopchoppy/St. Marks/Ochlockonee, Lake Ella Publix, Shell Oyster Bar, Cabos, college coeds, BBQ (hickory smoked - not that mesquite crap), plantations on the north and east, National Forest on the west, scrub oaks, palmettos and coastline on the south, St. Marks Refuge, Cody's Scarp, award winning city park system, boiled peanuts, game days and smoked mullet.
Glad you're still hanging your bike helmet here Juancho!
Juancho, you should start a real Big Ring Circus and we could all travel with you! You guys could ride bikes on flaming wheels and high wires! I want to stand outside the tent and yell "HEAR YE, HEAR YE!" and maybe hang from my teeth. What do you think?

I liked the BRC newspaper you did up all special-like.
There have been pros, cons and neutralities of anyplace I've ever lived. Aucillasinks mentioned so many things I miss about Tally. I used to shop at that particular Publix too! Now, a con in Tally would be WinnDixie. I never took to that place. Friends and/or family are a great and sometimes a cementing (is that really a word?) reason to stay somewhere, assuming you actually like them. ;-)
Maybelle, the image of someone hanging by their teeth in a circus made me laugh. I think it'd work as an act!
Trash talk from Jill! She's the one that's been flirting with the Move word. Or atleast hanging with a beau who's pushing the idea. How long can you love mud and rain and snow and snain and rain and wind and rain? She's an Inuit with her stakes stuck in permafrost. Give me sunshine and rivers that I can swim in.

That was awesome! How did you do that? And, sort of like having a guest blogger too.
Must be the damn heat.

OK, another con in Tally would be that never-ending humidity. For sure. But, other stuff makes up for it.
No doubt. I need a snorkel to check the mail. -jr
Put that dump in the rearview!
