Guess my age

No fair playing if you are my parents or otherwise related and already know my age. Here are some hints.

My first big concert event was the Prince, Purple Rain tour and I was probably slightly too young to be there.

The first president I remember is Jimmy Carter.

The last president I remember liking is Jimmy Carter.

I doubt I ever rode in a baby seat in the car, more likely I rode standing up in the back seat.

Good luck!

Juancho

I was working the monkey bars at the Old Armory on the day you were born. That was before the Tallahassee Tumbling Tots moved to the Northwood Mall and when Sears was still in the Parkway Plaza.

Happy Birthday Young Buck!

May and I used to fight about who got to sit up in the back between the front seats so we could look out the windshield.

Remember when your parents watched 30something and it was a show that applied to grownups, not you?

Happy Birthday!

I am guessing you were into the very addictive new invention called the Rubix cube around the age of 11.

Happy birthday to my ink Idol! I know you are old enough to spin a yarn, and young enough to still see the good stuff! I don't need a number. Happy Birthday.....

Although I had a birthday last week, I'm still 39. I think you're 10 years younger,so that makes you 29. It's the lifestyle that makes you look older. By the way, your parents really shouldn't have let you groove to His Purple Highness at age 7.

Here are more hints because we are the same age.

My first concert was Men At Work.

I gladly wore parachute pants and bright pink Converse hightops in middle school.

At age ten I was regularly riding my bike to the arcade for some rousing games of Space Invaders, Centipede and Missile Command.

The number one song in the USA on the day I was born was "Cracklin Rosie" by Neil Diamond.

Happy Birthday Juancho. Maybe they'll let you win on the golf course today.

Doubt it. They are victory misers.

So I'm guessing that "OLD" is not specific enough for me to use as a guess?

Wow, it turns out you are the same age I was, when I bought my first mountain bike, seven years ago!

Rubik's, not Rubix. Excuse me. :) And, I was going by the year 1980, when I remember getting one. Coupled with the 1970's "Cracklin' Rosie" hint from Dr. D's info., I think I was a year off originally with my guess. Dr. D brought up video games, which made me remember Pac Man, which was only the greatest video game ever!

You went to a concert of His Purple Highness without my permission? Grounded! (Right after you have a fun day today!) :)

That's perfect, Juancho!! Now we both got grounded by our Mom's on our birthdays this year!! I had no idea your birthday fell so close to mine. Now I know why we are both so beautiful! Happy Birthday!!

You're only as old as you feel.

(I feel twenty five)

Happy Birthday!

juancho said...

Sascha, you are correct. 'Old' is the right answer.

What did you get grounded for BW? Stealing WB's lunch money again?

Dude, Wrecking Ball didn't even START riding until he was as old as you are right now, and he's kicking your ass.

Happy Birthday.

Honestly, I don't think I started figuring out anything until I was in my forties.
I still haven't figured out a lot, and a lot of what I HAVE figured out I've forgotten but I guess what I'm saying here is that you're still a young'un and have a very happy birthday.
Who's making you a cake?
And Downtown Guy- you ALWAYS had to wear your seatbelt.
Didn't you? Should I just go check myself into jail now?

Wow, You and Apollo 13 in the same year!

Have a great one!

i remember when sears was in the parkway plaza...isn't it Ross now? or is it Payless shoes and Ross? But i did participate in the tumbling tots in the northwood mall---just for one day and never went back. I think my mother thought I couldn't handle it.
